I'm not clear on how to do it, to be honest. I went on Thumpertalk and looked around, but I'm not sure if what I found was ideal for my machine. It sure would be nice if there were marks on the 03 cam like there was on the 02 (E & I).

Anyway, I've got it in, no clue if it's right. Here's some pictures:

Note that the E and I on the intake are pretty much lined up with the top of the head and the punch mark on the exhaust is at the 10 o'clock position.

Note position of cam lobes.

Help!

Thanks

Eh, is that a WR cam You got?
In the second photo the lobes are pointing 9 oclock and 3 oclock.
Should be about 10-11 and 1 to 2 instead.
With a YZ cam it should be 12 "pins" in the chain between the punchmarks, dont remember how many when "YZ timing" a WR cam. Check with www.thumpertalk.com
Anyway, Your setup is way off.
Int cam in Your pic must be rotated a bit forward, punchmark should line up with valvecoveredge.
Then the lobe gets the right position too.
