Need info on dirtbike mechanics for English paper.

For English I'm supposed to write a career paper on a career I'm interested in. I chose a Motocross race mechanic. I'm having trouble finding info on this. I would just like to know the basics of what they do, how much they make, etc... Is there anyone who used to be or is a race mechanic or know someone who is or know of a good website about this? Thanks for any help you can offer. I only have 6 full days left!!!:scream:
