need new pegs and shifter any sugg

ok went riding yesterday with my new boots (first time for me wearing riding boots) well my pegs are worn and it felt like my feet wanted to slip all the time plus the shifter on my bike is the kind with the rubber inserts on it not the full metal type
when i tried to shift my toe would kinda slide away sometimes
and i would miss the upshift
any suggestions on new pegs and shifter
or do i just need to get more used to the boots

Cheap fix: Pull the rubber piece off of the shifter and dress-up (file) the teeth on the pegs.
$$$$ fix: Fastway F3 footpegs and Moose Folding Shift lever.

thats what i was thinking on the pegs grinding them alittle
shifter :think: thats good one
can prob get by with that till i get new pegs and shifter
