I was riding around on my BMX bike with my friend. I saw a garage opened up with about 3 or 4 '06 or newer Honda's, so I went to the man outside next to the garage and asked him about it. He said he'd been riding since he was 14 and gave me a little history lesson. He then proceeded to show me all the bikes and tell me a little about racing. I told him I ride and he told me anytime I needed help on maintenance to just bring my bike and he'd offer a little help. I then told him I knew his daughter and asked how well she'd been racing lately. He didn't even know my name throughout this whole ordeal and still was nice enough to stop and talk to me.
It never ceases to amaze me how nice the people of this sport are. Thumbs up to Patrick Koch (not sure if that's spelled right) :ride:
