new 2001 cr250

man, i am in love..i saw a new 2001 cr250 at my dealer and loved the way it felt when i sit on it. it was 4699 plus tax. ($5080)
I was gonna get a 03 rm 250 for 4600 till i saw this.. but what bothers me is that i know the resale value in 2 or 3 years will suck. I sit on the 02 cr as well, but liked the 01 better.. what do you guys think?

I prefered the 01 Cr125 to the 02-the 01 was smaller and fitted me better.

That is way too much for a leftover 01. You would be better off buying an 03 than to pay that for an 01. Ebay has 03's for $4,699.00 plus shipping. You should be able to buy an 03 at your dealer in the low 5k range.

although i already own an 01 cr250 i would buy the 03 rm , it's 2 model years newer , less expensive and the jetting on the 01 cr is a joke .
