new bike for me?

Try to include the following info in your first post
1)i am 5' 10" 140-145 lb.
2) i play sports all kinds im in pretty decent shape
3) i want to ride just what ever i basically can with friends but i live near octilla wells so thats a common riding area
4) not much expierience i used to ride very rarely
5) no racing for me
6) no not good mechanically i'm pretty young really but i know alot of people that can help me do the bike work if need be
7) my preference is a honda but not much more detailed then that
8) like i said i live close to a desert so yeah plenty of dealers near by
9) probable around 3-5 k estimate on my bike
10) i live in so. cal.
11) i am 16 i'll be 17 in june
12)i just have no idea what to get and im looking for a general idea
