Im new to having riding boots. Its going to take awhile to get use to them. I just don't like how your toe fits under the shift lever. It dosent help that i have size 12 feet :yell: I had them on the other day and it really seemed strange. Is this just the norm for getting use to riding boots?

If this is your 1st pair, it may take a few rides to get use to them. For a size 12 (same as me) you may have to raise your shifter a bit but I bet after you break in the boots it will be alright where it is. Boots are very stiff in the ankle when you 1st put on a new pair but it won't take long to get use to it. Try putting on your boots, stick the water hose in them then mow the yard. After that they will be broken in. That's the way I do it.

Guess, im a little slow. I never thought of raising the shifter. I just know that I really need to wear more protection. I've always just wore work boots.

You might want to put the shifter coming off of the front fork if you have size 16 feet

That's the problem, they're expensive. But I'd say my feet are worth it. A size 16...that's gotta be tough to find!
