I am new to KTM just bought the KTM 525exc and the dealership is willing to rejet for me before I pick it up, ride mostly northern Texas even when travelling never get up much more then 1500 feet. Thanks guys,

I would ask for a 45 or 48 pilot jet and set the needle at 3rd from top and adjust the fuel screw out to where it idles best. Mine is set 2 1/4 turns out. You should then read some of the threads on jetting and order the needle and main jet that suits you. Check out, jdjetting.com
