Hey yall////Fun time rider here,no racing//have a 1985 cr250 alot of trail riding,very little track riding...my old bones just wont take it anymore :).....does anyone have a good idea how to modify my bike to keep from getting water in the airbox when I hit the water crossings(I am not submerging it usuallsy 1-2 ft water spots where we ride and I hit them pretty fast 2-3rd gear wide open...and yes I get front wheel up first...seem to get water in the box alot more than other guys....any Ideas???? for anyone who knows the area we ride at muenster(home of the Red Bull Last Man Standing)

I ride and 87 and probably have the same air box. I noticed my box was full of mud after riding through about 18 inches of water. RTVing the seams wont help because the inlets are on the sides towards the bottom of the box. You could plug those holes and let the bike pull air from under the seat, maybe.
