what size for my 9yr old

9-10 yr old, 4 ft 80-85lbs live in midwest

aggressive style of riding

like to ride woods, mx track

been riding since 6-7 on a small mx track started on pw 50-pw80-ttr125L
wanting to race

dad is very mechanically inclined will do most if not all work

likes kaw65 or kaw 80 but no preferance
all dealers are close live just outside of st. louis, mo

price 1500-2000 to start

65 will get outgrown soon, but would be perfect for a little while. Kaw, KTM both are fine. Suzuki marketed some made by Kawawaki for a couple years, like 2002,03?? 85s come in two sizes, but all colors, best bet is go to a dealer and put him on the different models. Kawasaki has made a KX100 that is the same size as the 'big wheel' 85, just with 15cc more for well over a decade. Those will last a kid until they're 5'6" or so.
