New punk from North Florida

Greetings.. I just acquired my first two wheeled deathtrap the other day. Been looking for some online forum where I can come to ask all the stupid questions about my bike and read up on all the old ones. :)

I bought my bike from an older neighbor who only used it to get from his house, down to the river to fish, and back again for the last 5 years. He knew nothing about it. Just gassed it up and went. Well, hes become a bit old to ride, the bike has become a bit rough, and offered it to me for a song.

Its an 81 Yamaha 250. More than that, I know not. So thats why I'm here. :)

edit: err.. its an 82 250. not 81. dang typo gremlins.
