New rider question.

I let a friend ride my XR400R for an afternoon and he took it upon himself to bleed some of the nitrogen from the small cannister on the side of the rear shock without asking. He said he only let out a little. My question is this a problem, or no big deal. Incidentally, he will not be riding my bike again. He thought it would lower the ride height.

Yes it could be a problem. You can just touch the stem for just a second and as much as 50lb or so will bleed off. I would take it to your local shop and have them charge it up for you. should only cost you a few bucks. you know the saying you can pay me now or pay me later
