I just bought a stock 2001 220, It has a
140 main and a 40 pilot in it right now I have been riding at 7000ft plus right now so this jetting seems alright. I have fmf woods pipe and boyseen reeds and a wisco piston going to install along with fmf silencer. wintertime riding will take me down to 2000ft. What jetting should I start with after installing mods?
This is being built to tackle nasty single track and not much else. Let me know how you experts would build it. Thanks

I've got a '97 220 that I built last winter specifically for really tight, steep, rocky, rooted Northwest singletrack. I installed ProCircuit pipe/silencer, boyesen reeds, weisco piston and RB Designs carb and head mod. The bike will tractor up anything and can rip on top if needed.

You have the right bike for the right job. I would highly recommend the RB Designs carb and head mod. It allows you to lug even better and run a gear higher which is really nice in the woods. Call Ron at RB Designs and he will jet it spot on for your conditions.
