I went with Yamaha single ring dome top piston. i just got the bike broke in(by method of 3 heat cycles and 24:1 for a tank). i just got back from an hour long ride and figured i'd check the compression. i held it wide open and held the kill switch off and kicked until the compression kept raising. i only got 150psi. i figured i would get around 175.

did i do anything wrong or is this a normal compression?

thanks.

Its pretty normal, it will continue to rise as the rings seal more and more. On my 250 the compression didn't peak till it had a whole day of hard riding on it. I broke it in with heat cycles too.
