newb and CA sticker question

I just bought an 07 Kawasaki KX250F and the dealer didnt even tell me if its a green or red sticker bike. How do I find this out?

I'm sure every California Kawasaki dealer knows that is a red sticker bike.

Not yet Ricky. I am putting the RM up for sale soon though. A friend of mine just bought a boat and has been paying an awful lot of attention to that new toy... I'm hoping he'll sell me his kx250f... It's all decked out and would be perfect for me...

We do need to plan another trip up north to see you guys!!

p.s. sorry to hijack this thread away from the ca sticker question...lol :)

You can check for yourself easily enough:
http://www.dmv.ca.gov/vr/ohvredgreen.htm

Look at the VIN, 8th digit: If it is "3" or "C" it will get a red sticker.

thanks for the help guys. I did a little research and found it. Now I just need to find more places to ride :D This weekend coming up is the last weekend I can ride at Carnegie :(

Take it out to Sandhill (Sandhillracing.com) in Brentwood, it's not to far carnegie. Depending on where you are coming from. Also there is Santa Clara MX @ the San Jose Fairgrounds and Club Moto if MX is your thing.
