Did you know that more timber is burned in the US each year than is logged.
You can thank your friends at the sierra nazi club...they would much rather see all the timber burned than properly managed and heaven forbid someone make a profit off all that timber. It is much better to spend 100's of millions of dollars trying to put these fires out each year, than to treat it as a natural resource and harvest the timber in a sustainable way.
