Nirogen Clear up!!!

Ok, I've been through many threads about nitrogen in shocks but nothing has answered my question. I have a kayaba shock aquiped with a bladder, now, do you put the nitrogen in the bladder or in the shock it's self to mix with oil? There is a little screw at the top of the shock with an 0 ring, do I remove this and replace with a shrader valve to get it in the shock? H E L P :|

On modern shocks, the nitrogen stays on one side of the bladder in the reservoir. It does not mix with the oil. There should be a shraeder valve on the reservoir. That is where the nitrogen goes.

If you remove the plastic cap, you will see where the nitrogen goes. It is a Schrader valve, similar to a tire tube air valve.

Just make sure you use a "loss-less" chuck and not just a chuck as one would use when putting air into a car tire.
