if you have to bumpstart your bike to get it started than just put a new top end in. you already know it needs it if it wont start by kicking it

actually the problem is not that the top end is gone, i simply don't have a kickstarter that is in good shape and inside the crankcase cover where the kickstarter goes into the end off the return spring is broken and center is out of the washer in there to, so it's just left alone.

i tow the bike or bumpstart till i find a cheap kickstart assy in canada lol

it will be possible but it will be a big pain in the but. It could lead to in-accurate readings.

I dont know what kind of riding you do but I cant imagine riding trails without a kick starter on a 2T. What do you do when you bog on a hill or in mud?

Hello Shane....

Don't take this the wrong way.....but read what you wrote and then ask yourself why Newfies are often the butt of Canadian humour.
