Firstly, I have never owned a dirt bike but I would love to get one and plan on doing so in the next 2-3 months. I am 18 years old 6 foot something 185 pounds. I need a little help deciding what kind of bike I want to get. I will probably be riding about 70-80% of the time on the street and highway. For a long time I had my mind set on the drz400 but now I am not totally sure. I am looking to spend about 3-5k on a used 4 stroke bike 350-500cc's. I am also willing to learn how to mod the bike and work on it myself. Would the drz400 be a good choice? I was also considering a KTM bike. Any help on what kind of bike might suit me would be greatly appreciated. Also, it has to be fast :D, especially in lower gears. Thanks in advance!
