Last week I picked up a 92 CR250 in great condition with a redone upper engine, forks redone, all bearings and seals replace on the whole bike, and extreamly clean. Ive riden a little bit in my car but otherwise not much as I'm waiting on a trailer. This is my first dirt bike but I've riden street bikes for about 4 years now. The 2 stroke has a mean power band and I love it. Its got a few mods like pro circuit pipe, FMF silencer, reid valves, and a jet kit. I'm looking for gear currently and I'm thinking a HJC helmet and thro boots, and im not sure about a chest protector yet. If you guys can recommend anything it would be greatly appreciated.

Be sure and go to your User CP and update information relating to your location, type of riding, etc. After that grab a spot on the couch and tell us a bit about yourself. How long you have been riding, what kind of riding you prefer, where you are located, etc. We will do our best to hook you up with some fellow dirt bike enthusiasts.

As far a equipment, it sounds like you have a handle on things.
