This is what happens if you run a full sinter metal pad with a high carbon steel disk.This after 10km ride.The metal in the pad is very close to the disk metal ie weld together and pad bits fall out.
I will be going the old cheap option EBC

BTW, why are solid rotors considered better? Why is a scraping (machined/grooved/drilled) disk NOT better?
