number 40 pilot in 05 CR125?

Hey, I recently ordered a number 40 pilot after trying a 55, 50, and a 45 but Im still fouling plugs at slower speeds and throttle openings so Im going to try the 40. However, I was looking in my 'owners maintenance manual' and it says the pilot jet range is 45-65? But the dealer somehow got a number 40? Maybe its from a 2004 fiche or something? Will this fit and work ok?

the list in your manual doesn't list every size jet that will fit that paticular carb, there may be other bike out there that use the same carb and use jets lower than 40. as long as it is the right size to fit in your carb, then yes it will work

the pilot jets for the 05 cr mikuni is different than in years past....I had to order my pilot jets from the dealer because the ones they had in stock for the older mikunis were not the same...anyway, Ive leaned mine out quite a bit, 410 main, 2nd clip(need next leaner needle I think) and 45 pilot and 2.5 turns out on the a.s. -Hammy

I love the 05. Best CR125 engine yet.
