They are both pretty even. After the mods that we have done the 220 still maintained a better low end over the 200. I recently changed the front cog to a 12t, and the 220 has even better low end pulling power. 3rd and 4th gear are my main gears now, but the 200 will walk away from me on the LONG straights. I plan to have the carb bored and install the v-force reeds this winter when down for maintinance. Acccording to many here it should really rip after that.

I am running about the same as you (PC pipe, airbox frisbee) but have added a Rad Valve and a 2001 KDX 200 Carb. Seems to really rip but I don't have a 200 to compare it to.

You make an excellent point. I did indeed compare the oil that came out of the bike at a point where it was quite warm. It would have appeared quite less viscous than fresh gear oil.
With that being said. I still think that in this case it is probably best to stick to an oil that has the recomended properties as defined in the manual.
