I hope this makes sense to someone... This winter I did the top end on my 99 cr125 and took apart and cleaned out the carb. The bike won't start with the choke, however with a little 1/8 throttle it starts right up on the first kick and will idle fine. If I pull the choke up it immediately dies like you pushed the kill switch.
So, thinking it was something to do with the choke/idle circuit I took the carb apart and cleaned it again... focusing on the choke. Started and same thing... can't use the choke.
My compression before the rebuild was 143 which I thought was decent, so I wouldn't think my jetting would need to be adjusted much for the new top end, but maybe I'm wrong. Is there something I'm missing here??
