Odomoter problems

The odomoter on my 2003 KDX 200 isn't counting mileage correctly. It's about 2 tenths off every 1.5 miles. Since I use it for enduro, it's a problem. The cable is connected into the OD and at the wheel. The numbers move, just not accurately. Does anyone know if this can be fixed or is an electronic OD the answer? I like the readability and the easy reset of the stock unit.

Your error rate isnt much over 10% off - and I assume that is what Kaw was looking for.

I notice at most checks (every 7-8 miles) that mine is off by .3 to .4.

The trail techs are quite nice and the new ones have the resettable odo.

maybe , your front wheel is off the ground too much?....i know mine is with the torque pipe :laugh:
