I'm kinda confused. Can someone explain to me the difference between works, gncc, hare scrambles and enduro's?

Thanks a bunch.

Enduro - run on trails, it is a race against the clock, not other riders. You must stay on a specific minute, coming into checkpoints early/late of your minute will result in added points. Rider with the least number of points wins.

Harescramble - race run on a closed course (usually 8-12 mile offroad course) where racers race for a pre-determined amount of time (2-3 hours) before being cutoff. First one across the finish line after the cutoff wins.

GNCC - same as harescramble, it's the big series ran in the Eastern US.

WORCS - a harescramble series run in the Western US, featuring very open courses, high speeds and usually a motocross track.
