Official ISDE riders list to be announced

The AMA should be releasing the "official" US ISDE riders list ( 34 riders total) sometime in the next 24 hours.

It looks like David Pearson has passed on riding this years Six Days and either Fred Hoess or John Barber will join Kurt Caselli, Nick Pearson, Tim Taber, Jimmy Jarrett and Nathan Kanney on the US Trophy team.

A very "solid" team with plenty of young talent.

Any idea what it's like to be a chase rider in terms of miles a day??

It sounds like 160 miles a day ( two 80 mile loops) for the riders. So I would suppose something like 100 miles a day for a chase rider.

Day 1 and 2 = 258km and 6 special tests each day
Day 3 and 4 = 256km and 6 special test each day
Day 5 = 268km and 6 special tests
Day 6 =85km and 1 8-lap final motocross test.

Bob Argonis

I recently met Bob Argonis and feel that he should be the coordinator for the ISDE chase teams. Bob is a genius when it comes to organizing support for ISDE teams. He has worked on 5 or 6 of the last ISDE events and knows the whole process inside and out. He also has some good ideas about how to improve the American ISDE effort.
