Oil Issue please help!

Hey guys I have a 2004 KDX 200, it has been perfect for the year I have had it. Although lately the oil in the case seems to be disapearing after a long day of riding. It is not leaking from what I can tell and it has started smoking a little more when riding lately. So is it burning the oil somehow or what? :coocoo:

I think you are answering your own question here. It smokes more and the oil is going somewhere.

More than likely a crank seal needs replacing as the oil is probably being sucked past the seal into the crank area and burnt in the motor.

^^yep ^^ the clutch side crank seal is suspect..

So how much are they then? how hard is it to do? Options or thoughts on fixing this? thanks!
