I bet this has been discussed before, but im bringing it up anyway. I went out to a local riding area that I havent been to for a long time. I decided last time I was there I wasnt going back, but I did. Anyway, its not that great of place and there are always a bunch of old people on quads with no helmets or anything. A lot of times they ride 2 up. Only a few bikes are ever out there, but there are a lot of jumps that someone has been building. Back to the point, the old quad people always give me dirty looks like im crazy or something. I think its the other way around, they dont know what they are doing out there. Today was the last straw though, after getting dirty looks from all these people there was an old lady that tried to climb a hill and rolled down and broke her leg. Well, me and my friend saw the whole thing happen and were the first ones there. We dont know first aid or anything like that, so we really couldnt help in that way, but my friend rolled the four wheeler off of her and discovered that it was in SIXTH GEAR. She was trying to climb a hill that I have to shift down to second to climb in SIXTH GEAR. Now you would think that when your laying on the ground with a 600lb quad on top of you, you would be happy when someone shows up to get it off of you, well she told us to leave her alone and to go get her husband. I understand that she was hurt and all, but when I went down and got her husband, he was just as rude. I told him her leg was broken and offered my cell phone to call an ambulance, but nooooooo he didnt want to believe me so he took off up there to see for himself, then he decided that cell phone was a good idea and I let him call 911. He gave the phone back and said they would be fine and we could leave, so we gave up on being nice and went back to riding. I dont know what my point is, but I think quad people need help. Im done now, thanks for listening.
