I'm trying to find a website that will allow me to get a price and order parts for an older CR250. Anyone know of a site that will allow this? Can anyone recommend a Honda dealer that might carry parts for an '86 CR250? I need a right-side Crankcase cover and not too many people carry this part. Service Honda can order it, but that earliest possible that I will see the part is 7 days - longer if Honda doesn't have it in stock.

Thanks!

Thanks everyone

I called Service Honda before posting - see post - the problem is that they have to order it from Honda and cannot tell me if Honda has it in stock until I order it. I was hoping to find a dealer that may carry something like this in stock so I can get it quicker.

Check out Service Honda. Their link is listed with the sponsors to your left. Their prices are below retail and well below Powersports Pro.

I have only used Powersports Pro to get OEM part numbers. I usually order from Western Honda.

I found the part - thanks all!

Ironically, I found the part at a local dealer. I must have called 20 places ! Their price was only a few $ more than the internet, and I didn't have to pay $30 shipping to have it tomorrow. Just lucky, I guess.

Hey Gregg,

I'm the XR rider with the old motorhome from the Oak St. riding area. I hope you and your family are well.

Just wanted you to know that I've been back to Drinkwater Flat many times since that awful incident of being chased by the sheep dog. That place is still quite a challenge for me.

This past Saturday I went to Rohwer Flats for the first time. Although the fire roads are fun and fast, I made the mistake of jumping off onto some of the small trails. They start out OK but get treacherous - and then it's too late to go back. I rode for 4 hours/60 miles and fell 6 times! I bent every lever on my old XR350. The brake/clutch levers are a matching set of ram's horns, the shifter is ground into the casing and my forks are out of alignment. All in all, it was one of the best rides I have ever had!

I think I found the link between Drinkwater and Roher. While in Roher, I took a very tight/twisty single track down the hill. It was wonderful powder and had some great woops (I wiped out going up and going down). The road led to the highway where I opted to turn around before it got too late.

I am going to call the Ranger in the area to see if I can get some maps of both of the places. They are a great addition to my weekly riding schedule and I am grateful for your suggestion.
