Ok, Lets talk about dust. It's everywhere here and we get to land in it all the time. But it's hard to show how bad it is. So here is a series of photos of landing in the dust. Dangerous stuff.
Loved the pic of the sun just under the helo! Now, what does that puppy push on the dyno??? How long does it take for the dust to settle, on a calm day? Keep them coming please?
Thanks! Truth be told, that's not the sun. It's a strobe light that flashes so people can see us. But it is about as bright as the sun. With the three engines combined she puts down about 13,000hp. As for how long it takes for the dust to clear out it depends. Some times a few minuets, some times much longer.
Fox, If you get to ride a large enough one go for a seat on the ramp. Nothing like feeling like nothing is holding you back as your feet dangle in the breeze.
