Not sure on the Fox. I've got a pair of Thors and I really like them. If you're a bit short-legged, it can be awkward now and then, since it's easy to catch the leg of the pants on the kickstarter or footpeg and tip over. I haven't done it yet but hear stories a lot.
They look nice, the black ones at least, the gray would get way too stained up here in the mud.
I have SickRacing Gear over-the-boot pants and love them. They're much more comfortable than the racing style pants - for me, at least. I haven't had any problems catching them on anything (so far). That's my 2 cents. :)
Hey Tinkrides, how do the Sick pants fit? Are they long? My problem is having a 34" inseam--even the Thor pants are kinda highwaters. Also, is the material the thick burly kind? The pictures on their site made it hard to tell. The slippery, satiny material won't last long in the woods--I've had that kind before. But my Thor pants are more like heavy duty Cordura or something. I like that kind.
Firecracker - They're not super heavy duty like what you mentioned. I really only ride in the desert or occassionally on a track, so I prefer the light-weight. They are lined inside and everything and they fit me well - I'm 5'3"- they don't flop over my boots or anything. I ordered them a little big in case of weight fluctuation (ARG!). I guess if you need protection from trees and things, you may want to go with the heavy-duty stuff!
