I know oversized bars are stronger than 7/8 bars, but do you have less chance at arm pump with the oversized bars. Also I was wondering if anybody has tried the new rubber mount triple clamps and if they are reducing arm fatigue and pump?

The only thing that I have really noticed is that my Pro Tapers have removed all vibration from my bars. My arms feel much better than they used to after turning a few laps. I don't use rubber mounts b/c I like the solid feel of my Pro Taper/Applied Works triple clamp combo and I have no vibration whatsoever.

I noticed on my friend's bike the other day that the Tag oversized bars flex similar to the Pro Tapers, but I haven't ridden it.

I think you just about nailed it, I am the same with my K5, protapers and solid mounts killed all vibes in the bars and we all know those 500s got some serious vibes! :yikes:
