I'm wondering if Im the only one out there that's gone thru this, or if it's a rookie thing, or if it's just me. I just got my engine totally redone(top- and bottom-end jobs), and while I've gotten on it(which I might add, it's gotten more impressive. Thanks Eric and Jim), I'm afraid to really get on it for extended periods b/c I really don't want to hand out that kind of money again, nor do I wish to be w/out the thing for that long again. So, is this a common thing, or am I being a paranoid worry-wart?

BTW - I'm not concerned about the quality form Eric or Jim, and this question has nothing to do w/whether or not I trust them. If that were the case, I wouldn't have sent it to them over the two shops that I really truse.

the first ride after i change a top end or do anything major to the bike i'm always afraid to really get on the power because i dont want to fry the new piston i just put in...but when i get tired of just riding around half-assed i crank that throttle open and realize everything is fine and that i ahve nothing to worry about
