Parker Valley - Morganton, NC Oct 12th

There will be an open practice at Parker Valley MX in Morganton, NC. I don't know the format yet, but it starts at 10am and costs $15. So far James (possibly James' other brother James), Ivan, TheHondaPilot, and myself (MikeT) will be there. Super nice track. The track owner said to call Saturday morning just to see if it will still be on with the weather.

Just talked to Joe at PV. Practice is from 10am till 2pm. The format he says is that it will be broken up into groups and each one will have 12-15 minutes each time out. He will cycle the groups out there over and over until 2pm. Any other questions, call him at 704-460-0408. He seems to have his phone on now.

He also said if it rains too much on Friday, the practice might be cancelled.

I'm not sure if I'll be able to make it or not. Between my bike possibly not being ready and the outlook that we will likely be meeting with our realtor about a sales contract tomorrow, it's not looking good for riding.

Provided that my parts are here today, I'd be interested in riding Sunday at TNT if anyone else is thinking about riding 2 days.

I've heard such good tihngs about Parker Valley that I want to go, so I'm going to try my best to make it.

OK, Here it is. I just got off the phone with Joe. He says the practice is ON, however is is from 11am to 3pm now. He moved it a little to let the track drain some more he says. So it looks like we have a go!

Mike Read new issue of one of the moto mags....its the one with the YZ 450F on the cover its a issue that deals with getting rid of those blisters on your hands ! As soon as I can walk upright again I will be back on the bike.

Thanks man. Well, I'm glad someone else has admitted that they are sore! I am still feeling it! It is a good hurt though. :)

I stay sore all of the time so it isn't much of an event for me anymore. ...but I'll admit it.

I was sore that day but was fine Monday. I'm a little tired today but that is about it.
