Does anyone have a list of the Kawi part numbers need for replacing the bearings in the swingarm and rear shock mount?????

Not that I'm lazy.....I went to Kawi's website, but not having takin the bike apart I thing I must have missed some parts/bearings...My total $$$ from honda-kawaski.com was alot less than what people were saying it was gonna be...

Just wanna make sure I get the right parts

Assuming you are working with a recent vintage KDX200, then...

Suspension & shock links:
bearings = 92046 -1192 (6 ea.); -1216 (1 ea.)
inner races = 42036 -1245 (2 ea.); -1248 (1 ea.); -1309 (1 ea.)
grease seals = 92049 - 1330 (2 ea.); -1402 (6 ea.)

The dog leg nuts are self locking - might not be a bad idea to replace if you're doing all the other stuff: 92015-1433 (2 ea.)

Swingarm pivot:
bearings = 92046-1118 (4 ea.)
inner races = 42036-1056 (2 ea.)
grease seals = 11012-1259 (4 ea.)

One tip - don't overfill the outer cavity of the bearing housing with grease when you are putting everything back together, as you will struggle to get the seals fully seated. And the load bearing shoulder of the dog leg bolt is a bit short anyway, so you can end up not getting the links fully supported by the shoulder, which is not a good thing.

Didn't compare it to 23jayhawks, but here's what I came up with when I did a "late model" kdx:

KAWA no. description qty. Treas. Coast
92046-1216 bearing 6 6.28
92049-1402 seal 6 2.79
42036-1245 sleeve 2 6.59
42036-1309 sleeve 1 7.04
42036-1248 sleeve 1 3.00
92049-1330 seal 2 2.79
92046-1192 bearing 1 5.84
11012-1259 cap/seal 4 6.83
42036-1056 sleeve 2 8.04
92046-1118 bearing 4 6.77
11012-1591 frame cup 2 1.36
$162.26

There's a company that advertises in Dirt Bike Mag that sells the complete swingarm rebuild kit with all bearings & pivots. I think the cost is $60 - $70 -- most likely much cheaper than OEM.

Yeah, Pivot Works sells a good kit, but the swingarm bearings are not four needle bearings, they are two fat ones. PW just doubles the diameter of the stockers and only gives you two instead of four. Workin' fine so far...

re: 'double the..' that would be length.

Anyway...are they caged bearings? The PW bearings for the unitrack are not. Kind of a pain to service. Little parts everywhere....

jgino: Maybe your cost is less 'cuz you are looking only at bearing replacement? Put in new sleeves and seals, too.

OOPS! Yeah, thanks for the correction- double the length. I talked to a guy who worked in their machine shop, and he was telling me that the bearings they used were of comparable quality to OEM... etc. They have an online chart to look up applications. www.pivotworks.com

Here's a little info, Prices are slightly high. I got the swingarm for $37. ;) Good luck.

I just did the "Pivot Works" Shock bearing kit it was really simple except for getting the old top shock bearing out. 40 bucks gets you everything; seals, bearings, races/pins.. just replaced the rear wheelbearings too... seals included for $20... For me it is a no-brainer cheaper and everything is included...
