Hey jboomer, make sure you don't post the results without warning people first. eg subject "Phoenix Spoiler".

Just making sure you don't get any complaints.

So far the heat races have been real exciting. I hope the main is the same.

THAT was a good race! I don't think Lusk and Reed were more than 2 seconds apart the entire race. What a well-deserved win...

Hurray for RC he didn't make the podium! Seriously, Ezra deserves the win he's had a rough few years and won his heat over Reed as well!!!

According to the US motorcross.com results there was only 1.11 seconds between Ezra and Chad on the finish line! It sounded like an awesome race. I would have loved to see Chad hang on to it, but better Lusk than Ricky.

I've got nothing against Ricky, but it was getting boring listening to his podium speeches "...and my Dunlop tyres (tires) were really hooking up..."

To those of you who doubted Chad's skill to run up front in the 250 class...well what do you think know?

Oh this is going to be a great season. :)

No doubt! good for Ezra! The new kawies came out just in time. I'm guessing it's the best bike he's ever ridden, at least it must feel like it now! :thumb:

Remember that Lusk rode a different bike at the US Open--this was his 2nd race on his full factory ride. He may have more yet. :thumb:

I enjoy it when RC does lousy. I like his tantrums. I have a feeling he is similar to the old heavyweight boxing champion Larry Holmes. Extremely talented, but the public dislikes him. Lusk, McGrath, Stewart...very friendly sounding and approachable. RC...not. I think this will cost him a lot of money over the years.

I watched Stewart in the Kawasaki pits at the 2002 salt lake city sx. The kid and his dad enjoy what their doing. Constantly playing and having fun. RC dissappeared into his bus and would only appear to ride. I watched him walk out of his bus . I damn near felt sorry for him. He had this look like he did not enjoy himself.

One day when RC is gone and Bubba starts dominating the 250 class you watch him lost his popularity. TP is the most popular rider yet he does not even win a race!

Hello,
I was at the SX race in Phoenix and will give my race summary. In the 125's, Stewart is just amazing, but about half of the race he looked so out of control? But once he got out in the open he was fun to watch. There are not many big names to watch in the 125's. The 250's is sweet this year. It sucks for all of the privateer because it is so tough to make a main. Even if a big name guy has an off night or a bad race he will struggle to make the main event. The incident between Carmichael and Pastrana was neither fault. They were racing close for maybe 2 or 3 laps. RC just washed out in a corner ahead of Pastrana and Pastrana tried to get around him but had no were to go but up on the tuff blocks and just spun out. The main was fun to watch. Probably on of the funner races to watch in the last few years because RC always runs away with it and it's never a race. In the main RC was riding good in 2nd or 3rd place and did the same thing, just washed out all by himself. Alot of the 250 riders were struggling with a very difficult timing section and that is were alot of passing took place. But it was sweet and can't wait until next year.

WTG Yogi!! Lot's on his mind and on his plate now, glad to see him win again. RC is struggling a little and Reed is for real, man, it looks like a great season. BTW check out my ABQ local boy Kevin Johnson, he is moving up quickly in the 125's! may end up being the fastest of the burrito bunch. :yeehaw:
