Pipe Guard ?

Has anyone tried the fiberglass pipe guard that is in the Tech Tip area?

I bought the fiberglass & resin kit at the local autoparts store and I am gonna try it. I was just wondering if it does work well and if it's worth the cost savings?

I don't mean to question FattyK either, but I'd hate to spend the time doing this and find out it sucks...

How well that's going to work totally depends on how well you can fabricate the guard. If you do a great job, it's going to be great. Perfect, even. If you do a shoddy job, it's going to suck. You can't ask for a review on this as if you were shopping for a particular aftermarket guard. Just take your time and do a good job and you should be very pleased with the results.
