Purchased a 2001 220R. I read here that the Pro Circuit pipe bolts on much easier and cleaner than an FMF (Rev). What are the problems encountered bolting on the FMF Rev? Has anyone ever had a chance to compare the two, performance wise?
I hear about a lot of boltup problems with FMF but between my dad and I we've purchased 5 and never had any problem with fit. Pro Circuit sure gets a good rap around here though
I didn't have any problem with my KG35 either. Actually, it seemed a little short (on the stinger) to match up with my stock silencer. Not a problem though. If I could do it all over again, I would probably just go with the Pro Circuit pipe. Make sure you get the platinum pipe though. It is a pain in the but cleaning and lubing the flat pipe after every wash down. Definitely worth the extra bones!
