Looking to start off road riding in the spring and I know it can be hard to find good (legal) places to ride anymore, and it seems like most of the public parks are for ATVs only. I'm located in Scranton, PA (about 40 minutes from the Poconos). Mainly looking for trail riding. I have found a few tracks in Pennsylvania but paying $25 per day can get expensive.

Anybody from the Northeast PA area or know public areas to ride?

I know $25 a day can add up but I like it better than riding illegally. Check out the Damn Yankee Dirt Riders forum in the Chapters section. We have a Spring and Fall ride at Paragon Adventure Park in Hazleton (just south of you). I'll be posting something on the Spring ride soon.

I get down to MX573 in Montrose from time to time. It's a nice MX practice track, no trails available. I think they get $20 a day to ride.

I'll others chime in on some other "pay to ride" places. I personally like Paragon because of the wide variety of trails and the size of it (15,000 acers). Lots of trails for the beginner and experenced riders.
