theres definetly some color here. this is after i tore down top end to check rings,clean exhaust valves and then put the vorce 2 reeds.

wibby do you recall where you AS ran best with a 45 (i'm assuming you've tried one) and where are you running the AS with the 48. i'm thinking of going back to 48 and down to 152. i also have 1173 in mid. right now i have 45 and 155 with AS at 1.5 out
well, yeah kinda. i put the plug in new after i put top end back together. i let the bike warm up on that plug as well as wot chop. thanks for the AS info. whats the elevation where you live? nice plug pic. what kinda gas and oil and premix ratio are you using?

Is that a B8ES plug? I ask because it has a shorter length than the plug wibby is showing us. For a true plug read, warm up on a different plug and use a new plug for the WOT chop. Can anyone tell me if the origional VForce is as good with the newer KDX's as the VForce 2? Is it worth the $ to upgrade?

no its a b9es. i know i shoulda used a new plug after warm up but i didnt have time. i wanna try a c needle what should i start with? current jets are 45,AS 1.25,1173 mid, 155. and the vforce2 is worth the $148. im not even gonna try the low setting cant keep front end down now without leaning up over bars. i have 42-48 and 152-158 jets. if u rec a needle please also tell me what other jets i need. thanks
That's OK 89kdx200rdr, That plug read isn't too helpful anyway after using it to warm up the bike first. It reads verrrry rich. I'm not suprised to see the color is black either with it being a colder plug. Thanks for the info on the vforce 2. I don't know much about needles but I am sure someone will help out there. Try the search feature. It should point you to some threads that have already discussed needles for KDX bikes.
