I have a 2000 KDX 220 and am looking for a bit more mid to top
end. I have the rev pipe as well as the 36mm carb. Should I
replace the cylinder and get the new one ported? Does anyone
know how this will affect the power, and if their is any reliability issues if I go with Eric Gorr. What should I ask to be done exactly?
I would appreciate anyone's opinions.

Thanks,
Parker

Hello parker. I had Eric bore my 2000 220 to a 225. (I damaged my cylinder) I also have a rev pipe and 35mm carb. I ask him to port it to his mo-better everywhere specs. Why do you want to buy a new cylinder? I priced one and it was over $500 by the way it runs a lot stronger in the mid to top end with out losing any bottom. Also I don't think mild porting hurts dependability Darin
