I was kinda surprised to see his spewing in that thread. I've known him for a little while from local forums. I'm riding with him for the first time today. I'll let you know what I think.

Same here, John. Seems like I remember some intelligent posts by newriver. As far as Mr. AF500, I've said it many, many times: "Presentation is everything". I've never seen anyone get bashed for saying "Dennis Kirk is a great place to buy stuff". But, when you come in and say "Dennis Kirk is the ONLY place to buy stuff and you're an idiot if you buy anywhere else.", then you're just asking for trouble.
I saw Pat's explaination towards the end of that thread that stated quite clearly how the sponsors help keep this place free and offer competetive prices. I can't see where newriver got offended by that, or why he was offending AF500's chest puffing. That attitude won't fly. Or, as they say down south: "That dog won't hunt"!
I like Okie's final post there as well: "My house, my rules". It doesn't get any simpler than that, IMO. If I, or anyone else, has a problem with anything, discussing it in a grown up manner would be the first step.

BTW-I came here to kick ass and chew gum, and I'm all out of gum...:silly:

Well, I met and rode with him. Seems like an okay guy. The first thing I asked him was if he knew where I could get some red CR80 plastic. :)

I told him that the "AF" man was caught in a lie. And that liars are not appreciated here or on any boards for that matter. I believe I mentioned something about the fact that this is Okies baby, and he buys the diapers. So what he says goes. I thought he understood until the damned neighbors dog woke me up at 1:30 last night, so I came here and noticed he had posted his latest ramblings in the Flame forum. :silly: I was kinda tired, but I thought I heard a black helicopter flying over my computer when I read it, and then this morning the post had disappeared! :eek: I could be wrong though....it may have been a BLUE helicopter! :)
