I've suddenly become "un-cheap" and bought some race gas. The stuff is called power 110 racing fuel. Anyone ever heard of this stuff and what are opinions on it? The specs are:

motor octane: 108
research octane: 112
formula octane: 110
specific gravity: 0.71
RVP: 6.5
Lead: 4.0g/gal

After some testing it is much better than pump. Does race fuel make the jetting lean? What's RVP stand for? The only trouble I had was after shutting the bike off when I'd go to restart in 10-15 minutes it just didn't want to go. I'd really have to give it a kick (more like lots of kicks) with the throttle wide open. Once it was running it seemed fine. Besides that I'm very happy with the cleaner, crisper running bike.

who is the vendor of that fuel?

I too have been wanting to run some 'race gas', but have not been able to find out if I need to lean out the jetting or richen it up. I am a tad nervous about leaving the jetting the same and running the VP C12 stuff.

Did you change your jetting? If so, which way did you go (bigger jets or smaller jets).

Thanks,

Rod
