My 5yr old son has a pw50. The front forks are sticking something terrible. I thought the seals were bad, but the dealer told me that there aren't any on that model. Basic is as basic does, I guess. Anyway, I am looking for some help on this matter. I tried to clean them as good as I could, but now they stick worse than ever. I do not know how to get the tubes apart, if that's what I need to do. If anyone can tell me or direct me in the right direction, I would GREATLY appreciate it. I have a 5yr old little boy just begging to ride.

HELP PLEASE!

Thanks in advance.

they should be really simple once you get them off the bike. just look them over and im sure youll figure it out (i dont think they are oil filled forks like big bikes have so they should really only be springs) heres a blow up of your forks. really easy and just a spring like i thought. could be the rubber piece in the bottom is to dry and sticking inside the tubes. might tear them apart and lube them up.

if memory serves me correctly.....pull up the dust boot off the fork - there is a snap ring in there - that's about it and they should pull apart.

Part #6 is a snap ring which will let you pull the other pieces out.

BTW if you pull the assembly off the frame be sure and be prepared for a zillion little ball bearings to drop out like slot machine pay out.
