PW80 carb adjustments

My pw80 smokes really bad and it sounds like it is loading up at high rpms. Is there a way that you can adjust the oil mixture that comes from the oil tank that is under the seat and also the needle valve that has the clips on it if I move the clip up a notch will that lean the bike out or do I need to move the clip down to lean it out? Thank for the help.

Yes, you can adjust the oil mixture, you need the appropriate wrench and a dial indicator. Instructions can be found in the Clymer manual.

Is it better to just bypass the oil pump and pre-mix?
