98 pw80 stutters and won't rev up. Gas and oil mix is coming out on the floor. I have put in a new needle and seat, adjusted the float to 23mm, air mixture adjusted to 1 and 1/2 turns out. Disassembled and soaked the carb and all parts (except gasket and rubber and connector) in carb cleaner overnight. Just reassembled the carb. and the same thing happens.
It seems like the needle and seat are not shutting off the gas flow when the bowl gets full. I have checked it dry, and nothing hits and it moves fine with not apparent restrictions or hitting the sides. The float is gas tite so no problems there that I can see.
When I cut off the gas valve, right before it dies is revs up and runs perfect for just a couple of seconds, then, dead.
If anyone can guide me down the enlightment trail, please do so.
