G'day,
I bought a 96 250EXC a couple of months back and am wrapped with it. So far it has a lightened flywheel, FMF pipe, bigger rear sprocket and a slight overbore. It keeps up with my mates husaberg 600...until about about 80km.
My first concern with it is that its leaking oil from one of the forks. The previous owner said that it did this often, so I'm looking for a way I can fix it and fix it for good.
What kind of mods can be done on the Magnum 45 forks? I'm a pretty light rider (65kg) and really want to see what I can do with the suspension without spending too much. From wading through the posts it seems that there are a fair few guys out there (expecially WoodsRider) who seem to know their way around the Marzzochi forks. Can anyone suggest what I can do to get the most out of them ? BTW...I saw a post somewhere where someone gave a link to the manual for the magnum 45 forks....except the link was dead :( Does anyone know of an active link or does anyone have a copy ?
Any other-ideas on setting up the bike?
Cheers
Ray
