Race Tech gold valve kits.

Has anyone had any experience with the Race Tech Fork or Shock kits. I'm interested in stiffening up my CRF450 fork to start with and then probably the Shock as well to take hard landings better. I want to go to a .49 fork spring but was wondering if it would be worth my time to put the Gold Valve type 1 or 2 kit in also. Any opinions or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. :worship:

setting up valving and springs for your weight is probably the best thing you can do for your bike. it makes a huge difference in handling and the bike is more firmly planted to the ground. this especially goes for smaller guys like me or bigger guys. stock bikes are for about 160-170lb riders, and the valving isn't all that great.
