Rattling noise in my KDX 200, broken KIPS valve!!!

I posted some time ago about a rattling noise at certain rpms in my '89 KDX 200. I finally found out what it is and want to share with the community.

While doing a total rebuild, I found that one of my KIPS valves was broken. The top/bottom pins (which enable the valve to rotate) were totally sheard off. It was nice to find something definitly wrong which can be attributed to my mystery noise.

well i found mine in header and spark arrestor,in bits and pieces so they are pretty weak should check twice a year is what they say.
